I have so many things to tell you and wrote about so we'll go about this like a list.1.I've discovered something fabulous for extremely damaged, over processed hair.
I bought this stuff from Sally's beauty supply a few months ago and never really used it until last night. Like I've stated before in previous entries, I have extremely damaged hair from bleaching and coloring my hair constantly for the past year straight. It's so blown out and dead that my hair does not hold color anymore; every time I take a shower the color would wash out like I was washing out the hair color after dying it. Needless to say, my color would only last a week, tops before washing out of the tips but staying in the roots.
After shampooing and conditioning my hair last night I worked a generous amount of this stuff into towel dried hair and wrapped it up in a shower car and scarf to protect my sheets from possible hair color bleeding. When I woke up this morning I washed it out with cool water, taking extra time to gently scrub my scalp to make sure it was all washed out. After that, I applied all my regular products (Matrix Instacure Leave-In Treatment
and Potion 9 from Sebastian
) and dried only my bangs and roots of my hair, leaving the rest to air dry. The texture of my hair has changed dramatically even after one use.
I plan on using this as a weekly treatment now. Has anyone else here used this stuff before? What are your stories? In case anyone wants to know it's available from Sally's Beauty Supply for $2.99, which is more than reasonable considering how much you're getting in the tub.2.There's a change in weekly themes.
We're changing the theme to be a open topic discussion in one post seeing that most of you replied to the weekly theme post, and that's totally fine. If that's easier for everyone, then that's how we'll do it. Also, I've discovered probably thee ultimate headband DON'T
Amirite? Okay, you guys I'm thinking next week's theme should be extensions. What do you think? Yes? Something else? Post your ideas here.3.I need a haircut.
I have SUPER thick, hair that can be coarse at times and it's getting to the point where it's becoming a struggle to even dry my hair so I need to get it thinned out. Style wise I was thinking this picture.
I really like this except I'd bring the whole cut up half an inch so the highest part grazes my eyebrows. In case you haven't seen my face, here it is:
Does it work? If not, what cut do you think would? I don't want short hair, by the way.
